Celebrity that guys are most sick of

The results are in for AskMen’s fifth annual Great Male Survey, which polled over 50,000 men from around the world on issues ranging from online snooping to what keeps them up at night. But in addition to gauging popular male opinion on a variety of topics, the Great Male Survey also provides a clearer picture on where men stand on public figures – including which celebs have worn out their welcome. And, as it turns out, if it were up to guys, Kim Kardashian and Justin Bieber’s 15 minutes would be just about up.

Great Male Survey 2012
When asked which female public figures men were most tired of hearing about in 2012, the message came through loud and clear in the survey’s findings:

After generating only 17% of a similar vote in 2011, Kim Kardashian jumped to the top of the list in 2012. And while Kim’s 62% didn’t leave much for the other ladies, maybe “American Idol” producers shouldn’t be too worried about rumors of Jennifer Lopez leaving the show: 9% of AskMen’s readers say they’ve had their fill of J.Lo.

A little more about the Great Male Survey 2012

Meanwhile, other seemingly obvious candidates like Lindsay Lohan avoided guys’ scorn in 2012, though the omission is more a result of the former tabloid mainstay keeping a lower profile in 2012. Instead, more talked-about celebs – like the chart-topping Nicki Minaj – earned more attention, and with it, more votes.

And when it comes to celebrity men, another overly familiar face took over 64% of the 2012 vote: Justin Bieber. Apparently, another year in the spotlight hasn’t made guys any more interested in the teen superstar, who also led AskMen’s voting in 2011. And call it the Kardashian bump, but Kim’s new man, Kanye West, wasn’t far behind.

Thanks to an election year, both Obama and Romney round out the list, but pundits probably shouldn’t take too much stock in the percentage points. Sofia Vergara and Kate Upton also showed up on the list of overexposed women, despite earning the top two spots on AskMen’s Top 99 Women in 2012– proving that just because men may be a little tired of hearing about you, it doesn’t mean they won’t still vote for you when it counts.

Head over to AskMen to check out the rest of the results of their 2012 Great Male Survey.

Nicki Minaj jacket with black and white star print leggings and snow boors

Nicki Minaj was apparently so overwhelmed by the hoards of fans who turned out to greet her at Heathrow, she nearly fainted.
The U.S. rapper today had started making her way through the crowd outside the London airport but her bodyguards took her back inside to escape through another exit.
The 29-year-old was certainly going for maximum exposure in a bright pink fluffy zip-up hoodie as she stepped off the plane.

She paired her loud jacket with black and white star-printed leggings and snow boots.
And to top it off, was a blonde straightened wig.

Meanwhuile, it was revealed this week that Nicki deleted her Twitter account after an argument with a fan who leaked her new music.
She pulled down her social networking page after a fan site NickiDaily posted tracks from Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded.
She tweeted: ‘And that's exactly why I'm paying the barbz DUST right now!
And deleting my twitter. Smdh - don't cry for me argentina.’

Adding: ‘Like seriously, its but so much a person can take. Good f***ing bye. ‘
But Nicki did return to the social networking site on Sunday for a brief period telling followers she would be looking for a new set of ‘barbz’ her nickname for her fans.
She posted: ‘On second thought I'll just follow a new set of barbz. The ones I follow r very mean and ratchet. *side eyes them* *looks into the sea for more.’
NickiDaily.com has also pulled down their site and the link simply leads to a page that says closed.
Nicki now has 30 days to reinstate her account should she change her mind.

Nicki Minaj strips down to a bikini (photos)

She has a track record of sporting a series of outrageous outfits on stage and on her music videos.

And Nicki Minaj doesn't disappoint when it comes to her latest musical effort.
The 29-year-old rapper is seen getting down and dirty in a lap dance club in her new provocative video.

Showing her best assets: She made sure she flaunted her body as she indulged in her slow and deliberate rapping style

The singer bared plenty of her own body in the film for Beez in the Trap.
However, she appeared to go for a more 'artful' approach at first, kneeling on top of a platform in a pink leotard while wearing a blonde wig.

But she also made sure she injected some of her trademark raunch to the proceedings by provocatively bouncing up and down.

Having fun: The rapper seemed to enjoy playing with her wad as she eyed up the strippers in the salacious club

It then cuts to her wearing a tiny bikini in a lap dancing nightclub waving a fan of banknotes as she enjoys the salacious atmosphere.

She shows off her famous curvy figure in the video which sees her changing things up on the hair front by wearing a green wig.

There are also inter-cuts of her interacting with some female companions, as well as flashes of semi-naked women writhing around.

As she continues her foul-mouthed rap, which seems to have been deliberately delivered in a slow almost comical fashion, she is joined by guest star 2 Chainz.
He appears surrounded by smoke as he puffs away on a cigarette, clearly psyching himself up for his high profile appearance.

And he does not let down the pair's fans, joining in the fun by also delivering his lines in a painfully laboured fashion.

Taylor Swift doesn’t think the Recording Academy is mean. Though she won the Grammy for album of the year in 2010, she’s not sad her latest multiplatinum effort isn’t up for the honor this time around.

“I got three nominations. I was just so excited,” she said on Friday before she was honored as Billboard’s “Woman of the Year.”

Woman of the Year award honoree singer Taylor Swift attends the 6th annual Billboard Women In Music event at Capitale on Friday, Dec. 2, 2011 in New York.

Among the Swift achievements that led to her Billboard honor was the best-selling performance of her third album “Speak Now,” which has sold more than 3.7 million copies and generated hits like “Mean.”

There was some surprise when the critically acclaimed album wasn’t among the overall best album nominees when the Grammys nominations were revealed on Wednesday, but Swift says she’s excited by her nominations, which include best country album and two for “Mean,” in which she answers her critics and challenges bullies.

“That song is so personal, and I’m so glad that the Grammys recognized it,” she said on the red carpet ahead of the event.

Swift got a standing ovation as she accepted her honor. Swift recalled reading Billboard as a teen, pouring over its pages and hoping one day to see her name in the trade magazine.

“I got here today and there were all these flashing camera bulbs ... I got to the table, and I saw the magazine on the chair and it had me on it,” she said. “All the daydreams I had as a little kid, I guess this is what it looked like.”

One of the country singer’s favorite artists, Nicki Minaj, was also honored at the event as Billboard’s “Rising Star.”

Like Swift, Minaj was rocking blonde bangs.

“This is my Taylor Swift look,” Minaj joked.

But the rapper and singer got teary-eyed at the event when she received her honor. She’s costarred on dozens of hit songs in the last two years, and her debut CD, “Pink Friday,” has sold more than 1.6 million copies in the United States. Minaj is nominated for four Grammys, including best new artist, pitting her against the Band Perry, Bon Iver, Skrillex and J. Cole.

“I don’t ever expect to win those kinds of things, but it’s good to be recognized and it’s good for girls to see that you can do whatever kind of music that you want to do,” Minaj said on the red carpet.

Minaj is also up for best rap album, where she’ll face her mentor, Lil Wayne, as well as Kanye West, Jay-Z and Lupe Fiasco. She says she’s diligent, and that lethargic people annoy her.

“I always say hard work pays off. Don’t be lazy. I am racist against lazy people. I wish they would not exist in this world,” she said.

Minaj, known for her outrageous and colorful fashion style, says she’s learning to “trust my first instinct.” The 28-year-old says proof of that will show on her upcoming album, “Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded,” due out on Valentine’s Day.

“Things are happening so much easier for me now because I was over-thinking on the first album. I was trying to give people what I thought they needed, and what I needed my reputation to be,” she said. “And now it’s like, ‘I don’t care what you think. I’m going to do what I wanna do for my core fans and if you like, you like it. If you don’t, bye!’”
